At 4:00 this morning, Valerie, our resident female reticulated giraffe, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. A truly remarkable way to close out the year. Mom and calf are doing great, and our veterinary care team, including Dr. David Love with @exoticwildlifevetservices, is closely monitoring them, making sure this little one is safe, steady, and well cared for as she adjusts to her new surroundings.
