BPMN is targeted at a high level for business users and at a lower level for process implementers. The business users should be able to easily read and understand a BPMN business process diagram.

On that diagram, we can see two nodes with a '+' symbol inside. They are respectively the 'Employee Arrival' activity and the 'Ready to work' activity of the BPMN original diagram.

Our first focus with the BPMN based graphical designer is to prevent mismatches between the diagram and the runtime execution. Just offering all the BPMN details to everyone is not the right approach.
